"We rented a house right on the lake. The back porch and fire pit with views of the lake made for some really relaxing morning and evenings. We loved watching the geese land and take off. Steve, with Highland properties, was very easy to work with and booking was simple."
Happy Vacationer
"This year we stayed in a duplex rental in the Garden Hamlet. It was very clean, with a well appointed kitchen, and the beds were comfortable too. We love sitting on the porch and taking in the scenery, taking walks around the property, feeding the goats carrots in the evenings.
It’s so relaxing, we look forward to coming every year, in fact, we’ve decided to come back in July for another week!"
Home Away from Home
"We've been coming to the Garden Hamlet cabins several times a year for over 10 years. Every visit is magic and the cottages are always perfect. This visit we stayed in beautiful Willow cottage. It has a brand new, fantastic kitchen and nicely updated bathrooms. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Ten blissful days! Already looking forward to coming back for Christmas."
That Mountain Medicine
"I would highly recommend this location if you are seeking a peaceful trip and want to enjoy the beautiful NC mountain region."
