Welcome to The Winter Ramble, a free celebration of Appalachian creativity, community, and culture in Flat Rock, North Carolina. Join us for a lively artisan market featuring 20+ regional makers, live traditional mountain music, and a warm seasonal gathering at Treska’s on Highland Lake.
This family-friendly experience blends old-time craft with live performance, all in the heart of Western North Carolina.

Explore a curated selection of handcrafted goods from Appalachian and Southern makers, including folk art, contemporary craft, jewelry, and functional handmade pieces.
Throughout the event, artisans will offer live demonstrations, giving you a chance to see how traditional craft comes to life.

Admiral Radio is an award-winning folk/Americana duo known for heartfelt harmonies, finely picked acoustic instrumentation, and sincere storytelling rooted in life’s everyday moments. Their sound evokes timeless Americana energy while inviting listeners to slow down and connect.
Andy Bracken
Performing from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
Andy Bracken is a singer-songwriter from Hendersonville, North Carolina, whose music draws deeply from the lore, traditions, and sounds of Appalachia. His work honors regionally rooted storytelling and old-time musical heritage.
Together, these artists create a musical rhythm perfectly suited to the spirit of the Winter Ramble — welcoming, authentic, and steeped in the tradition of Appalachian sound.

While you explore the market and enjoy the music, Treska’s on Highland Lake will be serving a special brunch menu and offering craft cocktails throughout the event.
