About The Wilder Flower

The Wilder Flower is a genre‑blending trio rooted in folk, Americana, bluegrass, and old‑time traditions, built around rich three‑part harmonies and thoughtful original songwriting. Formed when Madeline Dierauf and Molly Johnson met at the Hagood Mill Fiddlers Convention in 2021—where both earned multiple blue ribbons—and later joined by guitarist Audrey Neel, the group has developed a sound that moves fluidly between styles while maintaining a distinct musical voice. Known for their dynamic instrumentation and strong vocal interplay, they’ve appeared at major festivals like MerleFest and Grey Fox and have shared stages with bands such as Steep Canyon Rangers and MIPSO.
